Im certain this thread has not been made yet so i put this one up for the people who support and why people think this religion is more "real" than others.

If you people would wonder what religion i believe in. Its Christianity.
My reason: How did the universe and earth come up? The big bang theory couldnt have explain that.
It has to be god that created it. How did people hear about Jesus? It couldnt be a man like mohammed that came up and made it also its been passed down from generations about how Jesus performed miracles like curing the blind with a simple touch.

And if that doesn't work, it's the Avenger. Super-high ROF PPSH is very accurate and has almost no recoil, while the Walther is very accurate and has no recoil whatsoever. It also has 4 gas grenades.

In COD4, it has to be the Ghost. (it's pretty much a modernized Infiltrator)

So, what are your opinions on religions? Eventually someone will make a reply that others strongly disagree with and some heat will start up. That's pretty much the whole purpose of a debate. Just stay on topic (personal insults aren't relevant). So, what do you think about religion?

I personally believe that religion is made up. Most atheists usually do. However, I believe that some religions were created with good intentions. Others, of course, were not. Some religions were created to help people cope with stress. Some people know that they're going to die and thinking they get nothing out of it will result in mass suicide, so religion is a way of keeping people in line. If you're behaved and a generally well-rounded person, you get to live in eternal bliss in the sky. Yeah, it's farfetched, but hell if people care how unlikely it is, they just want to know their lives aren't meaningless. That's one way religion is in fact for the sake of good. Many religions are completely opposite, however. Scientology, for example, is... the most hilarious thing ever. Seriously, science fiction is one thing but this is just it's own genre of extreme fiction. Anyhow, scientology was created for money. This is a greedy "religion".
Just because a religion was created with good intentions does not dismiss all events following its creation. Out of all the wars in the world, religion has been involved in over half. "My belief is right, yours is dumb, I'll kill you so my God will like how good of a person I am and let me in heaven!"
The most solid reasoning for not following a religion is this: if one religion dismisses another religion, and this simply continues throughout every religion, wouldn't every religion be dismissed? Therefor no religion is accurate according to every religion and none is worth devoting your faith to. If a religion can dismiss another religion, then I can dismiss that religion.
